Indio, California, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival kicks off the season with a bang.
Top-shelf acts from the Indie world, Prog-Rock, Reggae, Punk, Ska, and Hip-Hop make this one of
the more eclectic festivals on the circuit. Add in MrBusDriver can't wait for this event every year.
Held at the beginning of Spring near beautiful some great art installations and exhibits, maybe
some spoken word and comedy, and you have one great weekend in the desert.
Coachellas of past have seen the likes of Madonna, Radiohead, Tool, Bjork, the Flaming Lips,
Michael Franti and Spearhead.... just to name a few of the performers that have also enjoyed
this lovely venue. The 2008 line up should be announced soon!
MrBusDriver hopes to be shuttling fans from all over the region, including buses from Tucson and
Phoenix, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. For college students, this is a great
way to blow off some pre-finals steam or to take the spring break that you missed only a few
weeks earlier.
