takes place every September in Telluride, Colorado, a world-famous resort town in the heart
of the Rocky Mountains. The festival is a three day celebration of music and microbrews, held
in Telluride Town Park , an outdoor music venue with breathtaking mountain peaks for a
backdrop. By day, experience live blues, rock, funk, gospel, and soul, the best microbrews
from over 50 microbreweries during Saturday's Grand Tasting, a wide variety of food and craft
vendors, children's activities, and more - all on the festival grounds. By night, follow the
festival as it flows into the town of Telluride and Mountain Village, with late night juke joints

Awesome! Another excuse to head to Telluride! MrBusDriver will be heading out of Boulder
on September 11, 2008 for our second visit of the season to our favorite town in the world. If
you've been to this mountain paradise, then you are familiar with the magic that happens at
the foot of the surrounding 14,000 foot peaks. Add the best micro-brewers in the region,
some of the best musicians in the world, and the best fans you can find, and there you have
it.... one great reason to head deep into the San Juan Mountains, whether you've been there
before or not.
We will be heading out of Boulder on September 11, 2008 at 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. This is a
day before the fest starts, however - please note that folks who are camping will be allowed
into the campground area and from there we can shuttle folks to their hotel or to the main
shuttle stops. Ticketing check-in will be very simple. We will drop campers right at the gate to
get their wristbands, and then they can walk onto the site.
The ride from Boulder is about 7 hours without stops and depending on traffic - so expect to
be there at 6:00 PM on the earliest side and probably more likely arrival at 7:00 PM. To
conserve time we will not stop for groceries on this trip - however we understand there are
convenient shuttles to take you around Telluride so you can shop on Friday!
Don't hesitate to get your tickets and reserve your spot on the MrBusDriver bus from Boulder
or Denver. Early bird rates are now available and prices will increase by $10 on August 11!!
Enjoy the vistas and the company of friends as we wind on down the road and head towards
heaven on earth. Beer, great bands, and even more amazing scenery. What more could you
ask for?
We will be returning to Boulder on Monday, September 15, 2008, filled to the rim with suds
and sounds. All destinations will be departing the festival at 10:00 AM sharp from the drop off
point (in front of the festival gate). Be sure to pack for the unpredictable high altitude
weather! Things can get pretty crazy at 8750 feet above sea level in September.
